There can only be 1 sexy lingerie story today and that is to say goodbye to the original queen of the sexy lingerie departments, Grace Brothers Mrs Slocombe - aka Mollie Sugden who passed away at the age of 86. The hit TV comedy of the 70's was full of classic 70's non-pc jokes, situations, characters and comedy - who will ever forget Mrs Slocombe pussy ? The British sitcom was broadcast from 1972 to 1985. It never ceases to amaze me just how funny this comedy was, and totally without the need to shock, swear or offend. True comedy, great writers and fantastic actors.

A $1.99 "app" called "Hottest Girls," which previously had featured photos of alluring women in sexy lingerie, was updated Wednesday to include ladies wearing somewhat less, according to IPhone gurus. But by around noon Eastern time Thursday, it had been entirely removed from the App Store.

"The developer of this application added inappropriate content directly from their server after the application had been approved and distributed, and after the developer had subsequently been asked to remove some offensive content." The people behind Hottest Girls certainly weren't mincing words when the app, rated "17+" for adult users only, was still available Thursday morning.

Hottest Girls may only be the first of many risque iPhone apps. The App Store lists a couple of dozen salacious, but PG-rated, apps with titles such as "Sex Hotties Slideshows," Night Shift: Nurses" and "Bikini Blast."

Saudi Lingerie Problem Takes A Step Forward

Using bras donated by Victoria's Secret employees, 26 women have completed the first course offered in Saudi Arabia on how to fit, stock and sell underwear. Organisers hope the training will help boost a campaign to lift a ban on women selling underwear. The restrictions are ironic in a country that goes to great lengths to segregate the sexes.

The graduates, who were mostly Saudi, held a small ceremony at a college in Jiddah. Over 40 hours they learnt to overcome their embarrassment at doing bra fittings, deal with customer complaints and display the stock. A group of Saudi women launched a campaign three months ago to boycott lingerie stores until they employed women.

Lingerie Bust Up For Dragon

It has been reported that Theo Paphitis has sensationally quit the board of La Senza, the lingerie chain, after a bust-up with its private-equity group owner, Lion Capital. It is believed the star of BBC’s hit buisness reality show Dragons’ Den resigned from the board on June 1 after differences of opinion over how the lingerie business should actually be run. Paphitis had only returned to the helm back in February of this after a major boardroom clear-out that saw Rose Foster, its chief executive, leave.

At the time La Senza saidthat Theo Paphitis’s “significant experience” in the retail sector would really help to ensure the company was well placed to address the next phase of its expansion in the current difficult economic climate.

Two months later it emerged that Paphitis had entered talks with Lion to buy a majority stake. He sold La Senza to the private-equity group for £100m in 2006.

It is no real secret that La Senza are in a world of trouble and this year may see them disappear off the high street for good.

The Princess is currently holed up in a $4,000-per-night suite at the ultra-luxe Four Seasons George V hotel (above), which is partly owned by her nephew, Prince Al Waleed bin Talal. After some of those owed money initiated legal proceedings, the plaintiffs' lawyer Jacky Benazerah obtained a court order for bailiffs to go to the George V and seize the Princess' belongings. However, the Princess has invoked diplomatic immunity and will likely refuse them entry.

Smith, 31, has both defenders and detractors. As reported widely in the US press this week A man and woman stole thousands of dollars worth of lingerie last week from the Victoria's Secret store in Parmatown Mall OHIO, police said. The store's security cameras captured the images of two suspects, and Parma police want help identifying them. The store has reported three other major thefts in the last year. The loss this time was estimated at $2,700. Police said the pair stuffed dozens of bras into bags about 4:30 p.m. May 27. The security video shows the suspects walking between tables of merchandise. The woman carried a large purse. The man had a large bag that appeared to get fuller as the minutes ticked by.

Detective Marty Compton said the store's setup makes it easy for shoplifters to stow items. Merchandise sits in bins on tables, which are covered by opaque, floor-length cloths that thieves can use to hide their hands and packages from clerks and the camera. Police suspect the stolen merchandise will be sold on the Internet or the black market. Victoria's Secret's loss-prevention staff will monitor the Internet to see if the items are posted for sale.

Kurozu, 20, said her design was intended to express women's "blooming beauty." She will now go on to compete at a global Triumph contest in Milan later this year.

'Sexy lingerie nuns' were on a football trip

As widely reported in the UK press - Seventeen British men who were hauled in front of a Greek court dressed as lingerie clad "sexy" nuns when a fancy dress party went wrong were all members of a football club. What do we mean when we class something as 'retro'.
