Saudi Women Boycott Sexy Lingerie

Whether you see shopping for lingerie as either an occasional treat or as something you simply just have to do , it’s a relatively painless and simple process and there’s lots of choice in the shops and online. However in Saudi Arabia it’s somewhat different.

Currently most lingerie shops in Saudi Arabia are staffed by men, and women have to purchase the most intimate of items with male shop assistants who are total strangers.

What makes this even more bizarre is that Saudi is one of the most conservative countries on the planet – and strict segregation rules amd laws mean men and women can't be alone in a room together if they're not related to each other.

Now, a campaign is underway to change the way that women's underwear in the country is being sold and to ensure female staff are available to serve female shoppers.

Commenting on the above Julie Holloway - Director Feeling Sexy Lingerie said "going into a shop to buy sexy lingerie can be difficult at the best of times ... so even more reason to buy in security of your own home." "Buying online has never been safer and as we have seen over the last couple of months is bucking the high street trends"
