It has been rumored by the UK press today that sexy lingerie tycoon Michelle Mone is being lined up as Sir Alan Sugar’s sidekick on The Apprentice. Apparently producers want Ultimo millionaire Michelle, 37, to become Sir Alan’s right-hand woman after his aide Margaret Mountford quit. It is believed that Glaswegian Michelle — who has appeared on Celebrity Apprentice and is a regular on You’re Fired — has already been approached.
Last night a source said: “Producers have sounded Michelle out about taking over Margaret’s role. “They like her style and think she’d be a great addition to the team.” But it is believed Michelle — who heads a £50million lingerie empire — may be too busy for the plum role. The insider added: “She’s tempted but doesn’t know if she could spare the time.
“The show is filmed over 12 weeks which is a huge commitment. But it’s a very flattering offer and she would love to work with Sir Alan.”
