Times are really getting tough it would seem. As seen in the Lancashire press today a shoplifter stole sexy lingerie and bacon. The thief who stole lingerie from a Preston shop has been given a community order. Sarah Jane Despard, 31, of Sylvancroft, Ingol, admitted stealing the goods from the BHS store in the city. What a bizarre combination of items to take, the world never ceases to surprise me.
She also admitted a separate offence of stealing £74.70 worth of bacon from the Spar shop in Woodplumpton Road, Preston. Magistrates in Preston said she would be electronically monitored throughout the order.
