Sexy Lingerie Thieves Strike Again In America

As reported widely in the US press this week A man and woman stole thousands of dollars worth of lingerie last week from the Victoria's Secret store in Parmatown Mall OHIO, police said. The store's security cameras captured the images of two suspects, and Parma police want help identifying them. The store has reported three other major thefts in the last year. The loss this time was estimated at $2,700. Police said the pair stuffed dozens of bras into bags about 4:30 p.m. May 27. The security video shows the suspects walking between tables of merchandise. The woman carried a large purse. The man had a large bag that appeared to get fuller as the minutes ticked by.

Detective Marty Compton said the store's setup makes it easy for shoplifters to stow items. Merchandise sits in bins on tables, which are covered by opaque, floor-length cloths that thieves can use to hide their hands and packages from clerks and the camera. Police suspect the stolen merchandise will be sold on the Internet or the black market. Victoria's Secret's loss-prevention staff will monitor the Internet to see if the items are posted for sale.
