Sexy Lingerie Get Royal Approval

It was an encounter between the prince and the showgirl. Michelle Mone, whose flamboyant style and shrewd eye for busty models has turned her lingerie line into a global success story, was showered with praise by the Prince of Wales. The entrepreneur from Glasgow who grew up in a tenement without a bathroom, was yesterday praised as a "great ambassador" by the prince, who grew up in a palace. The pair shared the stage at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.

They were united by a shared belief in the necessity of motivating youngsters to set up their own business, as well as aiming to promote the Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust (PSYBT), which is celebrating its 20th birthday.

In a short address to delegates at the conference centre, the prince said Mone's story was an example of what can be achieved. She has been "so successful over all these years", he said, and had developed a business now known "all over the world". He told delegates he had known Mone for a number of years as her business grew, and added: "She is a great example, I think, of what can be achieved and she's a great ambassador not only for the trust but for Scotland."

He praised the trust's achievements and the work of hundreds of its volunteers in Scotland.

The trust is now responsible for 7 per cent of all business start-ups in Scotland each year, the prince said. "That, I think, is a remarkable achievement," he added.
